Navaratri Golu

Golu : During the festival of Navratri in South India, it is customary in the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka to display a "Golu". This is an exhibition of various dolls and figurines in odd (usually 7, 9, or 11) numbered tiers ("padis").

Field Trip + Workshop - Level 1

hello everyone :)

i am planning to have a field trip + workshop based on concepts covered in Photography Level 1 course, on October 23rd and 24th. on day 1 we will start early and do shooting for few hours, finish by noon or a little later. on day 2 we will have an in class session, for about 3.5 to 4 hours to finish a set of images from our shoot. 

field trip location can be finally decided once we know the participants, but it will be within an hour of driving distance. i suggest cubbon park, nandi hills or varthur village. more suggestions are welcome. you can bring your SOs on the shooting day, (they also become our free models :) ) . conveyance can be provided if needed. 

please let me know if you and/or your friends are interested. if weekend does not suit you, let me know anyway, i can setup a weekday field trip if there are minimum of 5 interested persons.
